Do Buddhist practitioners worship ghosts, deities, and ancestors?

The Buddhist practitioners, in reception of the Buddha' s teaching

and transformation, work hard in cultivation of the vinaya or discipline,

samadhi or meditation, and prajna or wisdom, eradication of greed,

anger, and ignorance, performance of all things to benefit society and

others, and without recourse to the aids of ghosts and deities. The

best way to go is respect ghosts and deities but stay the distance, as

Confucius once taught, whilst pay tribute to ancestors and remember.
