What do four elements being void connote?

The four elements, namely, earth, water, fire, and wind, connote the

making of physical life:

The element of earth is strong in nature, pertaining to all solids,

like human bones, muscles, nails, hair, teeth, and so on.

The element of water is moist in nature, pertaining to water, with the

biological fact that 70 percent of the human body being composed of

liquid, like blood, urine, sweat, and so on.

The element of fire is warm in nature, pertaining to the human body

temperature.

The element of wind or air is motion, pertaining to breathing.

In health, the four elements harmonize; in sickness, the four elements

disharmonize; in death, the four elements disperse.
